Foot Bath, the best way of Refreshing and Reviving Tired Feet
Posted by arlene under Flowers , Leaves , Massage , Relax , TeaThis is a wonderful way of refreshing and reviving tired feet after a hard day.
Boil up a kettle of water, and pour it over any of the following herbs, 2 litres (8 cups) boiling water to 4 cups herbs: elder flowers and leaves, maidenhair fern, peppermint, pine needles, rosemary, sage, yarrow, myrtle, mustard seeds, comfrey leaves, or castor oil leaves.
I first rub my feet with a little wheatgerm oil to which I have added a few drops of lavender oil. Then I immerse them in a basin of this brew, and soak for 10 minutes. Dry briskly and rub on a little soothing cream.
Quick Foot Refresher
Dip a few large castor oil leaves in hot water. Wrap them round your feet. Cover them with a warm towel, and sit back and relax for 15 minutes. In no time you’ll be ready to go dancing.
Athlete’s Foot Treatment
Athlete’s foot is a most irritating fungal infection when the pH of the foot changes from acid to alkaline. To treat this condition effectively, use apple cider vinegar in a foot bath three times a day. Wash the feet with soapwort, not soap, and allow the feet as much air as possible. Walk barefoot or wear open-toed sandals, but be considerate when coming into contact with others as athlete’s foot is highly infectious.
Herbal Bath for Athlete’s Foot
25 ml (2 tbsp) calendulaflowers 62,5m1(5 tbsp) apple cider vinegar 25 ml (2 tbsp) thyme

Having a foot massage is pure heaven and this oil is wonderfully soothing and relaxing after a hard day.

10 m1(2 tsp) borax
