Walk barefoot or wear open-toed sandals, but be considerate when coming into contact with others as athlete’s foot is highly infectious.

Herbal Bath for Athlete’s Foot

25 ml (2 tbsp) sage

25 ml (2 tbsp) calendulaflowers 62,5m1(5 tbsp) apple cider vinegar 25 ml (2 tbsp) thyme

1-2 litres (4-8 cups) water

Boil up the herbs in the water in a covered pot for 15 minutes. Cool. Strain. Add the vinegar. Save the strained herbs to rub between the toes. Immerse the feet in the ‘tea‘ and sit down for half an hour and relax. Dry the feet meticulously. Do this daily until the condition clears.

Foot Massage

Having a foot massage is pure heaven and this oil is wonderfully soothing and relaxing after a hard day.

125 ml (1/2 cup) comfrey leaves 125 ml (1/2 cup) elderflowers 125 ml (1/2 cup) almond oil

10 m1(2 tsp) borax

10 ml (2 tsp) honey

250 ml (1 cup) sweet oil

Blend all the ingredients in a liquidiser. Rub into the feet, then wash off with warm water. Store excess in the refrigerator. This mixture is also excellent for aching legs and it does wonders for the skin.
